In the second quarter of 2025, the top social networking apps in Kuwait demonstrated varied performance across downloads, active users, and revenue, as revealed by Sensor Tower's data.

Threads, developed by Instagram, Inc., experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 10.6K and closing the quarter at approximately 7.7K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 95K at the beginning and ending near 87.7K.

Telegram Messenger from Telegram FZ-LLC saw its weekly downloads peak at 11.7K early in April before tapering off to roughly 8.2K by the end of June. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at about $15.3K in May, while active users steadily hovered over 1.4M throughout the quarter.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained consistent weekly downloads with a peak of 15.9K in early June. The app's active users saw a slight decline from 4.8M to approximately 4.7M by the end of the quarter.

For Widgetable: Besties & Couples, downloads spiked dramatically from 234 in late April to over 9K in early June. Revenue also saw a notable increase, reaching $644 in mid-June, and active users surged from 3.7K to over 20K during the same period.
